Tues, May 26 Wilson Woods

Up and coming pianist Wilson Woods is currently a Master’s Degree student at the Manhattan School of Music. Born and raised in Idaho, he began playing the piano before he could reach the keys without a bench to sit on. Wilson was quickly drawn to jazz and, after studying with two college professors in his home town, he began jazz studies at Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied with Dan Wall and Sullivan Fortner. Upon graduation here located to New York, where he is in his second year as a graduate student at MSM and gigs regularly.
