Wed, May 13 Liya Grigoryan

Armenian-born pianist Liya Grigoryan began playing piano at the age of five and quickly established herself as a rising voice in jazz. She has received several international honors, including the Getxo Jazz Award and the Keep an Eye International Jazz Award. In 2018 she was selected as a semifinalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Grigoryan performs actively throughout the United States and Europe, appearing both as a bandleader and collaborator.
