Pianist and singer Brenda Greggio is based in New York City. Originally from San Diego she sharpened her skills participating in numerous regional and national jazz ensembles. In 2022 she moved to NYC as a recipient of the Sony Music Group Global Scholarship at the Manhattan School of Music to study with legendary pianist Ted Rosenthal, she has now ingrained herself in the music scene. Most recently, Brenda performed at Smalls Jazz Club under the guidance of Frank Lacy, as well as Dizzy’s Jazz Club with Ingrid Jensen and the MSM Orchestra. As a composer and arranger, her skills have been recognized in Downbeat Magazine and she has begun to cultivate a following with her own jazz trio. While the group currently performs in her hometown of San Diego it is developing performance opportunities in NYC and beyond.
