Anthony Wonsey, a Chicago native, is one of today’s most innovative jazz pianists. Influenced early by his classically trained mother and jazz-loving father, he earned a full scholarship to Berklee, where he began performing with Roy Hargrove and Antonio Hart. Wonsey went on to tour with Kenny Garrett and Nnenna Freelon before joining jazz legend Elvin Jones’ Jazz Machine in New York. Mentored by Mulgrew Miller and James Williams, Wonsey continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his dynamic compositions and imaginative arrangements.
