Alfira Ahmatjan (Jazzfira) is a New York City–based Uyghur jazz vocalist, composer, and pianist. Rooted in improvisation and shaped by Uyghur musical traditions, her performances explore a deeply personal, cross-cultural space, where voice, memory, and spontaneity intertwine. With a background in jazz studies and a foundation in composition and classical piano, her musical approach reflects a sensitivity to phrasing, space, and interaction. Her work has been presented at international music festivals, and she performs across New York City. Recognized as the first Uyghur jazz singer, Jazzfira brings a warm, intimate, and emotionally nuanced presence to the stage. *Please note: There is a 2-hour limit at each table.
